The Latest Winter 2020/2021 Forecast from the National Weather Service
According to WSLS News, “This year, we are dealing with La Niña conditions, which are described as cooler than average temperatures in the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of Perú.” This could lead to lower-than-average snow totals – good news for commuters, but a bummer for ski bums and snowmobilers.
Don’t Forget to Change your Furnace Filter!
Some newer furnaces send a signal to the thermostat that it is time to change a dirty furnace filter.
For the rest of us, we need to remind ourselves to change it a couple times per heating season, or as they say, “as needed.” If you hear your furnace “wheezing” or the door or side panels slightly buckling, those are indicators your furnace can’t breathe.
