We had this system installed this summer and AC worked well, but since weather is cooler, the unit seems very noisy while heating.

Had contractor back, they insulated some lines said to be causing the problem from Carrier techs, but still seems loud. Is anyone else having this problem?

We had this unit installed in November 2016 and as of December 2018 the compressor has failed, we paid over 8000 dollars for this heat pump. This replaced a Bryant and we had the same problem with that unit.
