Carrier has stated they will not cover items purchased online, but coming from the ecommerce background I have, I will tell you that they gladly sold us equipment to sell online "By the Truckload", knowing in advance, that we were selling it online. So - on one hand they say no - but then they continue to source the products to people who sell it online. We have not sold online in well over two years - but even today, they continue to sell it to resellers, who sell on eBay and other ecommerce websites.

@ Megan –

Thanks for stopping in to comment. If people are selling it on line to homeowners, it is not with Carriers blessing.

Carrier does not authorize sales to ANY one that does not have an HVAC license.
