Lighting your Heater pilot light!

Regardless of the reason, pilot lights go out on gas furnaces. In the video above, the woman called a contractor to come and light hers.

Lighting the pilot on a Gas furnace is not much different than the method he uses in this video. While most gas furnaces no longer use a standing pilot, yours may. If not, chances are good you may have a Hot Surface Ignitor that controls the ignition on your unit.
